What Is a NLP Practitioner?

Human Resource is an indispensable component of any organization or business. Human Resource is responsible in ensuring that employees within a business are not only feeling well-treated by their employer, but also in making sure that employee motivation levels are high. When employees feel well-integrated and important to an organization, they are likely to exhibit greater commitment to their work, and consequently improve their productivity. While this may seem straightforward, maintaining a motivated and focused workforce is no easy task.

Businesses are always looking to recruit human resource specialists who are trained in the art of communication. Many businesses constantly face inefficiencies due to a lack of communication between the different rungs in its hierarchy. Many business executives and managers may not have the requisite skills or tools to communicate what is expected from a business’s workers.

In recent years, businesses are quickly realizing the importance of communication, not only in adequately expressing the requirements of an employee, but also in creating a work atmosphere that is open. To avoid conflicts or inefficiencies in the workplace, a specialist can work towards catering communication in ways that are stimulating to individual employees. A business’s employees need to feel valued and appreciated if they are to continue displaying excellent levels of productivity.

What is NLP?

Since the rise in the popularity of neuro-linguistic programming, businesses have sought to recruit trained NLP practitioners, in an attempt to boost employee motivation levels and productivity. Neuro-linguistic programming is a communication strategy, which you can learn at Let’s Live. It is based on the assumption that certain forms of stimulation, including ways of communication, trigger particular memories or emotions within different individuals based on their past experiences.

It goes on to theorize that in structuring communication in a manner that looks to alter or manipulate an individual’s perception of events or incidents, NLP practitioners can help employees develop a different and more positive understanding of their work and the roles they play in an enterprise, thereby improving motivation and productivity.

Importance of a NLP Practitioner

The technique assumes that an individual’s set of past experiences is crucial in determining neural patterns, and behavioral trends. An NLP specialist is trained to identify ‘maps’ or trends in the way different individuals react to particular situations. An NLP practitioner will look to change an individual’s perception of a situation so that new neural patterns will be created, that encourage productivity in the workplace. NLP practitioners will use a new approach to communication based on an understanding that every individual is inherently capable, and look to unlock an employee’s true potential.

A NLP practitioner is trained in a number of fields. One of the most basic traits of NLP practitioners is the ability to manage themselves. Self-management is important so that employees are able to feel secure in communicating with the specialist and go on to develop relationships based on trust. NLP practitioners will also be well informed on the basic axioms that Neuro-linguistic programming is premised on. They can use these to develop communicatory strategies that take into account the subconscious effect of verbal and non-verbal communication on employees.

NLP practitioners will also be trained in developing result-oriented plans for organizations. They will be best placed to understand what each employee in an organization is thinking or feeling, and use this information when delegating tasks or projects. In many cases, NLP practitioners will also be required to adapt a piece of communication, or manipulate contexts to help employees grasp new perspectives.

Certified practitioners are also trained in using non-verbal communication cues that relate to the senses of sight, smell, hearing, and sensation in communicating with their employees and improving their productivity. NLP practitioners will also be knowledgeable with regard to psychological strategies that look toward empowering employees who may be troubled, disillusioned or experiencing poor motivation levels.

At Let’s Live, we ensure that you learn all the basic as well as advanced aspects of NLP. With our hands-on training, you will be able to handle business communications with much ease and efficiency.
